Coldfusion-based Email Reminders: Free service by CF-Works

Originally I built email reminders code as a module for Client Billing & Invoicing System. It allows emloyees to setup personal reminders for their tasks, for one-time or for recurrent tasks. Available scheduled modes for recurrent tasks are:

• Daily (with ability to specify number of days, for example: "remind me from now every 3 days"),
• Weekly (with ability to specify number of weeks and check days of week to run on, example: "remind me every 2 weeks on Monday and Wednesday"),
• Monthly (it is possible to specify first, second, third, forth or last occurrence of required day of week, for example: "remind me every first Tuesday and third Friday"),
• Yearly (just select month and day in yearly mode. Example: "remind me every year on June 20").

Since reminders are personal, you need to register or login if you are an existing user before start using them. Reminder will be sent in email accordingly the way you have scheduled it. To implement SMS reminder for this code is also easily possible but since SMS service isn't free, this option is not available here.
