A BIT MORE ABOUT ME
My name is Nikita Shakhrai and I'm freelance web programmer, currently the developer of a few big ongoing client's web projects and the lead programmer of the CF-Works.
I am Russian and live in Russia, Ingermanlandia.
Originally I got Master's Degree in economics but never worked as economist in fact.
During the first year of my career I took programming courses on object-oriented programming (C++ and Java) for one year and once completed, joined the PC service department of the same organization.
(recent look)
I started my programmer's work in 1998 as LAN/system administrator and FoxPro database programmer in Regional Department of State Tax Inspection near my home when arrived back from military service.
Then I was working as database / GUI programmer in a few organizations and software firms with FoxPro, Visual FoxPro, Oracle, PowerBuilder, Oracle Pro* C, Informix,
finally ColdFusion until got remote full-time ColdFusion job in USA-based web development company in March 2002 and discovered how small our world in fact is.
The next step was switching to instant freelance status and since 2004 I work as freelancer. Not the easiest but definitely the best way of work for a web developer, at least as for me, I love it.
Real open world. Direct interest in high quality of work. Growing professionalism. Efficiency. Freedom.
